PACE Playgroup

Weekly themes incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) will be brought to life in art projects, activities and story time. Open Gym

For children 0-5 and their parents/caregivers

WFC offers a variety of equipment for large motor-skill development. Children and their parents/caregivers are provided with a positive outlet for energy, especially in inclement weather that contributes to the tension of “cabin fever”. In addition to promoting children’s physical development, Open Gym serves as an opportunity for socialization and networking. Playlogists also incorporate learning activities in play (counting, colors, etc.)

Please check the calendar for Open Gyms.

TalkReadPlay Group

Parents will learn about their child’s development, temperament and interests while having fun at the same time. Based on PIWI (Parents Interacting With Infants) curriculum.

Please check the calendar for the TalkReadPlay Groups. Registration required.

Building Blocks Playgroup

Currently this playgroup is on hold!  We hope to bring back asap!

For Preschoolers (3-5) and their parents/caregivers

For children with learning disabilities, experiences with more typically developing peers can occur less often. This playgroup provides an opportunity for all children to play and learn from each other in a supported environment. These times of playing with peers can offer tremendous models of speech, motor and cognitive skills. Each week will include a theme and involve crafts, cooking, and sensory-motor fun. There will be music, movement and story time.
